Donation Creation

Bridger gave an upward nod at a fellow Helix soldier as he passed by them. “Do you know how a life is created in the Creation Lab?”

Sinah only stared back at him. Bridger chuckled shaking his head. “What am I saying? Of course you wouldn’t. Rumor has it, you were a natural birth.” Bridger dismissively waved his hand. “Well, it’s really not important or anything. During creation, everyone is given a small amount of Angel blood or Demon blood. I was told the strength of our soul decides how well it takes.” Bridger waved his hand again. “Anyway, anyway, the ADGL Labs takes a small amount of the reproductive samples. Our creation is basically the same as in Creation Lab except we get given a mixture of all the special blood samples.”

Sinah didn’t shift her interested yet confused expression from Bridger. He continued as he began to take the mission equipment from her hands. A smile touched at his lips seeing Sinah pull the red scarf close to her collarbone. “Well, all special blood except the Lucifer blood. Since the Commander’s creation, the blood doesn’t even try to take to life.”

Once all the items except the red scarf were in Bridger’s hands, he began to walk down the hall again. Sinah was quick to follow after him. “They pay close attention to our progress. You know to see which blood chooses to blend with the life. A lot of us Helixes are made this way. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.” Bridger smirked, glancing back at Sinah. “And sometimes, really strong, brave, handsome, amazing Helixes are made. You know, like me.”

Sinah couldn’t help but to smile. Bridger stopped in front of a metal door. “Since the ADGL Labs get a small sample from everyone. It’s random who our actual parents are. None of us know or even want to know for that matter. We are raised with others like us.”

Sinah barely nodded as Bridger chuckled. “I know that was the boring technical way of explaining it, but did it answer your question?”

Sinah nodded with smile. Bridger smiled himself. “Good, now let’s make you look like one of the Commander’s team.”

Sinah looked down at her mint green sweater in slight confusion. Bridger smirked turning his attention to the metal door. His smirk shifted to a childish grin as he kicked the door open. “Murdoch!!”

Murdoch, who was sitting behind a large counter, frowned lowering a sandwich from his mouth. Bridger snickered approaching him. Sinah walked into the area curiously. On the left side of the room were clip boards and bins of papers. On the right, were different types of guns hanging in display cases. Beyond Murdoch were many closed cabinets and a thick glass door. Beside the door was a lock release panel.

Murdoch indifferently nodded as Bridger placed Sinah’s mission equipment on the counter. “Is it all here?”

“Do you still have the proto type of Sinah’s battle suit?”

Murdoch bit into his sandwich and mumbled through the mouthful. “Yeah, why?”

Bridger leaned on the counter glancing back at Sinah.
